An annual celebration of all things crime at a unique library in North Wales! Hosted in collaboration with the Crime Writers’ Association and featuring some of the best crime writers in the business, Alibis in the Archive is your chance to spend a weekend considering all the best crime writing there is.
Based at Gladstone’s Library, a residential library, the Alibis in the Archive 2022 line up includes:
Lynne Truss (author of the Constable Twitten series) presenting The Bodkin Atkins Case: Crime in the 1950s
Philip Gooden (author of the Nick Revill series) on Spies in 1960 Fiction
Martin Edwards (author of Mortmain Hall)
Jean Briggs (author of Summons to Murder) on Charles Dickens and Crime
Priscilla Masters (author of Blood on the Rocks) on Medicine and Crime
Nicola Upson (author of The Dead of Winter) on Margery Allingham
And Bonnie MacBird, author of the acclaimed Sherlock Holmes Adventure Series
PLUS – activities and perhaps a few surprises…include dinner on Friday and Saturday night and lunches on Saturday and Sunday (two courses plus hot drink) and access to all talks.
