Behind the Covers of Crime is a lively talk and informal chat about crime writing, to help readers explore the breadth of the genre in a fun, engaging, educational and social way.
To bring the range of crime writing to life, a panel of four crime authors will use examples from their work to illustrate their different subgenres. For the purpose of this event each has also written a short excerpt from the same starting brief.
Julia Stone – psychological suspense
Michael Heath – period detective
Rosie Sandler – cosy crime/amateur sleuth
David Evans – police procedural/mystery
The panel discussion will be followed by a Q&A and a chance for one to ones with each author.
