Part of Clevedon Litfest: More Than Words 2025
Brian Price is an author and crime science advisor with a background in chemistry and biology. He turned from science to crime in 2016 when he attended Crime Fest in Bristol, and started to use his knowledge to help crime writers get the scientific details right. This work became the book Crime Writing: How to Write the Science, a guide to the scientific aspects of crime for crime writers (and readers). He is also the author of the DC Mel Cotton thrillers, published by Hobeck Books.
