Join us this June for Crime Reading Month! Meet award winning authors in conversation with Alis Hawkins.

The Sins of the Past

Award winning historical crime fiction authors Chris Lloyd and Alis Hawkins in conversation about how they bring the past to life in WWII Paris and 1880s Oxford and the influence of place and time on the crimes their characters investigate.

As well as writing, Alis Hawkins is a founder of the Welsh crime writers’ collective Crime Cymru and was the inaugural chair of Wales’ only dedicated crime fiction festival, Gwyl Crime Cymru Festival. She is also a writing tutor for Literature Wales and mentor to emerging crime writers.
