Join us at The Core Library in Solihull for an evening of crime, character and compulsive storytelling on Thursday 2nd July at 6pm. We will be joined by not one but two Midlands authors for an evening of literary conversation.
Karl W Newton is a Birmingham author who writes dark, gritty psychological thrillers rooted in realism with atmosphere, and deeply character-driven storytelling. Influenced by music culture, lived experience, and a lifelong fascination with the psychology of human behaviour, Karl explores identity, pressure, trauma, and survival through flawed, believable protagonists.
After years working in the public sector, Jill Griffin ventured into fiction writing. A passionate reader and writer, keen walker, confidant and friend, Jill brings warmth, insight and keen observation to her storytelling. Married with three grown-up children, she lives in Solihull, where everyday life and human connection continue to inspire her work.
Karl and Jill will be discussing their writing influences and processes, followed by a Q&A session with the audience. After the event, there will also be a book signing. Copies will be available to purchase at the event.
