Author Sarah Bax Horton charts her personal journey and research into the Whitechapel Murders from Jack the Ripper’s Autumn of Terror in 1888 to the closure of the police files in 1896. Inspired by her great-great grandfather police sergeant Harry Garrett, she began her research in the Metropolitan Police Archives. As her expertise developed, she drew on wider sources to write two books about the Whitechapel Murders and, ultimately, to identify Jack the Ripper and the Thames Torso Killer. Join Sarah Bax Horton, author of One-Armed Jack and Arm of Eve to find out more.

Prior booking is essential. In addition to the in-person event there will be online access via YouTube.
