Phil Rowlands talks to Alis Hawkins about his varied career as screenwriter, novelist, and publisher with Diamond Crime.

As well as writing, Alis Hawkins is a founder of the Welsh crime writers’ collective Crime Cymru and was the inaugural chair of Wales’ only dedicated crime fiction festival, Gwyl Crime Cymru Festival. She is also a writing tutor for Literature Wales and mentor to emerging crime writers.
