A rare chance to hear the celebrated author Ian Rankin and Siân Reynolds, experienced translator of French crime fiction (Fred Vargas and Georges Simenon), discuss the ups and downs of translating crime fiction from English to French and vice versa. Literary agent Jenny Brown will chair the discussion. A fund-raising event on behalf of the Institut français d’Ecosse, organised by the Friends of the Institut français d’Ecosse.
