National Crime Reading Month

Be part of NCRM

The Crime Writers’ Association is inviting libraries and bookshops around the country to get involved with National Crime Reading Month throughout June 2022, with virtual and in-person events, themed displays and exhibitions, and via their book clubs and newsletters.

Whatever you are planning, we would love you to add your event to our listing so we can shout about it!

If you need a writer for your event, we have a list of CWA members who would be delighted to appear, and we can offer support via our library champions and bookseller champions.

Social media & online events

Follow the CWA on Twitter and Facebook to keep up with the latest news, and remember to use the hashtag #PickUpAPageTurner to get the word out about National Crime Reading Month.

Online events are a great way to ensure accessibility for all, and we’d love to hear about your virtual event.

Are you organising an event? We have a selection of downloads and ideas and tips to help you promote it and get the word out!

Let us know

If you’re planning an event or would like to get involved, join our mailing list to keep up to date with NCRM news.

We urge you to add your event to the National Crime Reading Month listings so that we know what you’re planning and readers can find events happening in their area. We will be sharing events in the press and on social media to help boost them, and you’ll also be able to see what else is planned locally.

Keep in touch: We’d love to hear what you’re thinking! Email us at NCRM@thecwa.co.uk
