Martin’s novels include eight Harry Devlin mysteries set in Liverpool, eight Lake District Mysteries and four books featuring Rachel Savernake, two of which have been nominated for Daggers. His non-fiction includes two multi-award-winning histories of crime fiction, The Life of Crime and The Golden Age of Murder.
