Mary Torjussen writes psychological thrillers set on the Wirral. After taking an MA in Creative Writing at Liverpool John Moores University, she left her teaching job and focused on writing. Her novels, Gone Without a Trace, The Girl I Used to Be and The Closer You Get have been sold in the UK, the US and translated into several languages. She is currently working as a literary editor and writing her next novel.
